gage keys, a junior defensive lineman from Hilliard, Ohio, announced Monday that he will enter the transfer portal after spending one season with the program. Keys will be searching for his fourth home, as he made stops at Minnesota and Kansas before joining Auburn’s roster last cycle.

Auburn’s special teams took a hit on Tuesday, as punter Gabe Russo announced his plans to enter the transfer portal in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Russo, a redshirt freshman, spent two seasons at Auburn and was the Tigers' backup punter in 2024. His departure leaves a hole at the position, with starter Oscar Chapman out of eligibility.
