Bangladesh has informed the United Nations that the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, a leader of the Sanatan Jagaran

"We strongly protest such arrests and appeal to the Bangladesh government to give protection to minorities,” claimed Radharamn Das, the vice-president and spokesperson of ISKCON.

Another Hindu priest and ISKCON member, Shyam Das Prabhu, has been arrested in Chattogram, Bangladesh, just days after the detention of spiritual leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on sedition charges. India has urged Bangladesh to ensure the protection of its minorities and fair judicial processes.
