Queens University of Charlotte President Daniel Lugo is stepping down after being named to the same job at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He will assume his new role July 1.

Lugo, who became president in 2019, will continue to lead the university through the end of the academic year.

The president of Queens University is stepping down after more than five years at the helm, the school confirmed Wednesday morning. Daniel Lugo first took over the role in July 2019, and will conclude his time at Queens at the end of the current academic year.
