The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the list of match officials assigned for the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy on Wednesday, February 5.

According to PTI, India's only representative in the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, Nitin Menon, has opted out of officiating in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan this month due to personal reasons. Javagal Srinath is also not part of the referee panel.

Pakistan's interim head coach Aaqib Javed said India should be worried about the fitness of their leading fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah ahead of their clash in the upcoming Champions Trophy, set to happen in Dubai on February 23.

No Indians were named in the list of match officials for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. According to a PTI report, India’s Nitin Menon opted out of the tournament. Former India cricketer and current ICC match referee Javagal Srinath too didn’t find a place.
