Two days after entering the transfer portal, a freshman defensive lineman is back with the Huskers. Keona Davis has decided to return to Nebraska, according to KETV's Big Red Insider Sean Callahan. Callahan reported that Davis was back with the team for lifting on Wednesday.

Davis immediately becomes a contender for major snaps after Nebraska moves on from its entire starting D-line and much of its second unit. The Arizona native appeared in 11 games and logged 90 defensive snaps – 20 total in four November contests – this season. He made nine tackles (1.5 for loss).
