The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA)’s Red Line is free of ‘slow zones’ for the first time in over 20 years, according to an article in Mass Transit.

For the first time in decades, the Red Line is entirely free of slow zones. According to the MBTA, it’s been at least 20 years since the busy subway line, running south from Alewife toward Braintree and back again,
