Twice this season they’ve beaten Denver. Minnesota has been stellar offensively on both occasions. It all stems from Edwards. Denver simply doesn’t have an answer for the guard. Edwards made 14 of 23 shots from the floor and scored 23 points in the second half as Minnesota pulled away after leading by 11 at halftime.

Anthony Edwards became the Timberwolves’ franchise leader in 3-pointers at 23 years old during a 34-point day. Malone waved the white flag and went to his reserves with more than five minutes remaining.
