That’s more like it. Rising to the occasion as we knew they would against a division rival, the Florida Panthers got back on track with a 5-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at Amerant Bank Arena on Wednesday.

The Florida Panthers defeated the Maple Leafs 5-1, while the Maple Leafs lost yet another forward to injury in Bobby McMann.

With the Maple Leafs coming to town, there will also be three familiar faces in the building as Steven Lorentz, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Anthony Stolarz take the ice at Amerant Bank Arena for the first time since helping the Panthers capture the Stanley Cup back in June.

Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann suffered a lower-body injury at some point during Wednesday's loss, according to TSN's Mark Masters. The injury likely occurred at some point in the second period because the 28-year-old winger wasn't on Toronto's bench to begin the third period.
