NHL in ASL, which will be presented for the first time by Scotiabank in Canada, will feature Deaf commentators providing real-time coverage of play-by-play and color commentary in ASL of the NHL Winter Classic. The telecast will be exclusively available to stream on Max in the U.S. and on Sportsnet+ in Canada.

The NHL is partnering with P-X-P to serve the Deaf community, creating an alternate telecast for the Winter Classic that features analysis in American Sign Language.

The St. Louis Blues and Blackhawks square up at Wrigley Field on New Year’s Eve for the annual Winter Classic, and, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, both teams dropped the brand-new jerseys. Fans can scoop the threads up now on Fanatics for as low as $89 and up to $239.
