Four people were injured and taken to hospitals Wednesday after a small plane landed on a South Texas street and crashed into three cars, authorities said.

A twin-engine propeller plane crashed onto a Texas highway on Wednesday afternoon, splitting in two and leaving debris scattered across the roadway.

Only the pilot was on board the plane at the time of the crash. In a video posted on Facebook, which showed the wreckage, the Victoria Police Department said there had been three vehicles and one airplane involved in the crash.
