Massachusetts suspect gang members recently charged with murder had a unique way of making money: they stole lottery tickets.

U.S. federal officials announced the indictment of 22 leaders, members, and collaborators of the Dominican-born Trinitarios gang for their involvement in six homicides and eleven attempted murders in Massachusetts.

Federal and state law enforcement officials are scheduled to announce a case involving nearly two dozen gang members in connection with six murders and 11 attempted murders, FBI Boston said.

After a decade of “bloodshed, drug trafficking, and lawlessness,” officials said the arrests of 22 members of the Trinitarios gang, including leadership, in Massachusetts is a “significant blow” to the criminal enterprise,

The feds allege the gang participated in a number of murders and attempted murders that wreaked havoc in Lynn and Lawrence.

The organization was started at Rikers Island in the '90s by people who were facing murder charges. It has spent the past decade causing “bloodshed" in Massachusetts, officials claim.
