Palo Alto police said the suspects in several restaurant burglaries worked for a company that did cleaning for the businesses.

Three people were arrested in connection with three restaurant burglaries in Palo Alto this winter, the Palo Alto Police Department announced Monday. All of the suspects worked as subcontractors for a cleaning company that serviced the victimized businesses.

Investigators traced the crimes to 29-year-old Marcos David Umana Romero, 31-year-old Jose Roberto Rodriguez, and 27-year-old Armando Aguilar Sevillas, all residents of San Francisco. They were arrested and booked on three counts of commercial burglary and three counts of conspiracy.

Three men who worked as overnight cleaning staff for Bay Area restaurants were arrested last week in connection with a string of burglaries, police said.
