The government of Argentina has accused its Venezuelan counterpart of continually harassing six members of the political opposition who have been sheltering for months in the Argentine diplomatic compound in Caracas.

The United States on Wednesday voiced concern over Venezuela preventing safe passage for a half dozen political opposition members who have been sheltering for months in the Argentine embassy in Caracas.

MIAMI - The United States on Wednesday issued a strong condemnation of Nicolás Maduro and his representatives for refusing to grant safe passage to individuals currently sheltered inside the Argentinian embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. The individuals are under Brazilian custody and have been seeking refuge within the diplomatic mission.
