Philadelphia International Airport expects a busy Thanksgiving weekend, with holiday volume increasing for the fourth year in a row.

Scott Arnould expected traffic and long lines when he arrived at Chicago O’Hare International Airport more than four hours before his flight home to Gulf Shores, Ala., on Tuesday, as experts warned of the busiest Thanksgiving travel week ever.

The holiday travel blitz in the Philadelphia region is underway, and travelers are expected to take to the skies and the roads for Thanksgiving. This year, both the Transportation Security Administration and AAA expect record numbers of travelers.
