Sony is reportedly giving up on its Spider-Man universe, which includes universally panned films such as Venom and Morbius, as Kraven the Hunter is projected for a worse opening weekend than the disastrous Madame Web.

With a dismal box office outlook, “Kraven the Hunter” may add to Sony’s list of Spider-Man spinoffs that failed to capture audiences, including “Madame Web” and “Morbius.”

Sony Pictures appears to be nearing the end of its Spider-Man universe as Kraven the Hunter faces bleak box office projections.

The long-awaited 28 Years Later is slated to hit theaters on June 20, 2025. You can now use the sounds from the PS1, PS2, PS3, or PS4 when selecting games on PlayStation 5, but it may only be for a 'limited' time.
