Tage Thompson is going to miss at least one game for the Buffalo Sabres after Devils forward Stefan Noesen knocked him out of the game on Sunday with a hit to the head that resulted in a match penalty.

The Sabres' Tage Thompson left Sunday's game after taking an elbow to the face from the Devils' Stefan Noesen, who received a game misconduct penalty.

Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff told reporters leading scorer Tage Thompson will not play Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
