Emergency services were scrambled to the city centre road at the junction of Booth Street this morning at around 10am following reports of a collision between a tram and a van. It is understood that the van then rebounded onto the road, hitting the young girl who was rushed to hospital. She later sadly died of her injuries.

Emergency services raced to Mosley Street at around 10am on Saturday (February 22) following reports of a crash. The girl was a pedestrian who was hit when the van was forced onto the pavement. She was rushed to hospital but later died of her injuries.
