After the rosters for the 4 Nations Face-Off were announced, it was expected that Clayton Keller’s name would be on the list. However, the Utah Hockey Club captain’s omission from Team USA was a surprise throughout the league and maybe for himself too.
After receiving an inadvertent puck to the face from teammate Michael Kesselring, Clayton Keller immediately went to the locker room. When he checked back in at 4:40 in the second period, Utah's offense would come to life and score four goals in a row on route to its 5-2 victory.
