Los Angeles permitting quarterback Matthew Stafford to gauge his value with other clubs has provided plenty of hoopla for the offseason. As far as Rams head coach Sean McVay is concerned, the goal remains using the information to keep his QB on the team.
When asked about his team’s reported interest in Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford during his NFL Combine press conference on Tuesday, the Giants general manager gave the company line. “You’ll have to ask the Rams that,” said Schoen. “He’s under contract with them, so that’d be a question for the Rams.”
General manager Andrew Berry declined to comment specifically on if he’s expressed interest in Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford now that he’s been given permission to seek a trade, but made it clear he’ll leave no stone unturned in his quest to find the Browns’ quarterback of the future.
