Despite a man blowing himself up in a Cybertruck in front of the Trump hotel in Vegas last month, the LVMPD is now using Cybertrucks as cop cars

Images of the Cybertrucks were posted to X on Tuesday by Sheriff Kevin McMahill, who wrote, “These are badass.” McMahill also included tweets in his thread about new rollouts of technology like drones and the highly controversial shot-spotters.

All 10 Tesla Cybertrucks were donated to police by an anonymous donor. Some of them will be used by local SWAT teams, and others as regular patrol cars. It was only a matter of time before the Tesla Cybertruck would go into police service.
