The margin of defeat was narrow and Oxford certainly made their hosts work for the three points, but in the end the victory was enough for Burnley to climb to second in the Championship.

Oxford United face a difficult test at keeping their unbeaten run going when Gary Rowett’s side visit Burnley on Tuesday night. The U’s are without a loss in nine league games after a 1-1 draw at home against Bristol City last time out.
