The community of Piedmont, California came together Thursday morning for its annual Turkey Trot event which became in essence a memorial for three young adults killed in a horrific crash of a Tesla Cybertruck on Wednesday.

Three people were killed and one was seriously injured in a vehicle crash in Piedmont, California, according to police.

A person following the Cybertruck when it crashed pulled a fourth person to safety, authorities said. That person was rushed to a hospital and sent into surgery, authorities said; they were reported to be in stable condition.
