A 3-year-old boy has died of injuries in the massive explosion of fireworks at a home in Honolulu on New Year's Eve.

UPDATE: City officials identified the child as Cassius Ramos-Benigno. A 3-year-old boy died Monday of injuries suffered in a massive fireworks explosion on New Year’s Eve in Salt Lake, according to the Honolulu Police Department. He is the fourth person to die in the incident, which also injured around 24 others, many critically.

A toddler is the latest person to die following the New Year’s fireworks explosion in Hawaii, bringing the death toll up to four. Cassius Ramos-Benigno, 3, succumbed to his injuries from the explosion on Monday,

The U.S. military flew six patients to Arizona for treatment on Saturday because Hawaii's lone burn center doesn't have enough capacity to care for all the victims.
