Mumbai: Following the tragic bus accident in the busy SG Barve Road area of Kurla, several videos have circulated on social media showing BEST bus drivers purchasing alcohol from a store and then entering the bus.

As soon as the bus stopped, many passengers were also seen jumping out of the shattered windows instead of waiting for their turn to exit from the doors.

The CCTV footage of the BEST bus that mowed down seven persons in Mumbai's Kurla area shows driver Sanjay More collecting two backpacks from the cabin and jumping out of a broken window after the accident.

The incident took place on Monday night when the out-of-control electric vehicle ploughed through pedestrians and vehicles on the busy SG Barve Marg in Kurla (West).

Bus manufacturer Olectra says he was trained for 3 days before he began driving the automatic electric bus on November 29.
