LONDON (AP) — Pooches in pullovers paraded past Buckingham Palace on Saturday for a gathering of dogs in Christmas sweaters to raise funds for rescue charities. About 130 pets, and their owners, walked Saturday from St. James’s Park and along the Mall, the wide boulevard that leads to the royal palace as part of the Christmas Jumper Parade.

More than a hundred dogs dressed in Christmas jumpers have joined a festive parade in central London in support of rescue charities. About 130 pets made their way from St James's Park, down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace with their owners on Saturday morning.

The Christmas Jumper Parade, organised by the Rescue Dogs of London, saw dogs of all shapes and sizes gather at St James's Park in their best red and green ensembles. There were even pups in tiny Santa hats.
