Prior to discovering the two bodies on Cottrell Street, officers found a dead man Wednesday morning at a home on Butler Street.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Barnsley. The 56-year-old was found unresponsive at a house in Summer Lane, Wombwell, on Tuesday and later pronounced dead.
