Disney has cast a Mandalorian and Grogu villain, which points to further ties with the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy and infamous return of Emperor Palpatine. As reported by Deadline, Jonny Coyne will reprise his role from The Mandalorian Season 3, where he played a villainous Shadow Council member only known as Imperial Warlord.

According to Deadline, Jonny Coyne is set to reprise the Imperial warlord he previously played in The Mandalorian Season 3 episode “Chapter 23: The Spies” for The Mandalorian & Grogu. This unnamed commander was a member of the Shadow Council,

Coyne joins a growing cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White.
