PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles added tight end C.J. Uzomah to their 53-man roster on Wednesday to help replace Dallas Goedert, who suffered a knee injury in the Eagles' 24-19 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

The Atlanta Falcons made a few practice squad moves on Tuesday, signing running back Elijah Dotson while releasing kicker Riley Patterson and linebacker Tyreek Maddox-Williams. Dotson signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Buffalo signed veteran safety Micah Hyde to its practice squad on Wednesday, the team announced. Hyde, 33, spent the last seven seasons with the Bills before his contract expired after 2023. He didn’t not sign with a team in 2024.

The Carolina Panthers made a handful of moves to their practice squad on Tuesday. As announced this afternoon, the team has signed four players to the group—including running back Emani Bailey. The 23-year-old is an undrafted rookie out of Texas Christian University.

Now in Philly, Blasingame could help the Eagles fill the void left behind by hybrid fullback/linebacker Ben VanSumeren, who suffered a season-ending injury in practice late last w
