South African Revenue Services (SARS) officials and police have swooped on properties in Durban and Pietermaritzburg owned by controversial businesswoman and Royal AM Football Club owner, Shauwn Mkhize.

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has intensified its crackdown on tax evasion, targeting businesswoman Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize in a high-profile raid at her Durban mansion.

South African Revenue Services (Sars) officials and police have reportedly raided the La Lucia, Durban, home of controversial businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize. The raid took place on Tuesday afternoon, with locksmiths also at the scene.

Alleged tax evader Shauwn Mkhize felt the long arm of the law on Tuesday (26 November) when the South African Revenue Service (Sars) and the South African Police Service (SAPS) swooped on her home in an affluent Durban suburb.

The South African Police Service and the South African Reserve Bank raided the home of KwaZulu-Natal businesswoman and socialite Shauwn Mkhize on 26 November.

DURBAN - SARS officials descended on the Durban home of well-known socialite and businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize. The raid comes after the tax collector secured a search and seizure warrant against Mamkhize.
