The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers entered the season final both struggling, Arizona having lost five of six and the Niners six of seven. After some early success from the Niners, the Cardinals pulled away and blew them out 47-24 to finish the season 8-9.

The Cardinals have the opportunity to do something they haven’t done since 2021 — sweep the season series against the 49ers. The Cardinals were swept by the Niners each of the last two years. Before 2021, they swept the Niners in four straight seasons, winning eight in a row against them from 2015-2018.

The wide receiver took a few knocks in the defeat to the Lions on New Year’s Eve. He missed all of the Niners' practices last week.
