EASTENDERS has revealed a look at the deleted scenes starring Denise Fox and Ravi Gulati that never made it to air following the live interactive vote in the show’s 40th anniversary

EastEnders has revealed images of an alternative ending to Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) love triangle after a public vote resulted in her choosing Jack Branning (Scott Maslen). Denise's estranged husband Jack and her secret lover Ravi (Aaron Thiara) have both been vying for her attention in recent months, with Denise unsure who to pick.

The vote will officially open at 8:30pm on Wednesday February 19 at BBC.co.uk/EastEnders. It will close at 7:10pm on Thursday February 20, so the result can be incorporated into the live episode, which will broadcast at 7:30pm from BBC Elstree Centre that very evening.

EastEnders' 40th anniversary live episode was watched by 3.7 million people on Thursday, according to overnight ratings, with the cast praised for their lack of slip-ups on the night. The episode was broadcast live for the first time since 2010 and its ratings were about 1.5 million above the soap's daily average.
