Training right around the corner for the Detroit Tigers, the franchise has been very active lately in putting the finishing touches on what the roster will look like. It was an amazing campaign for the Tigers in 2024.

Late Sunday night the Detroit Tigers inked pitcher Jack Flaherty to a two-year, $35 million deal with an opt-out after the first year. Flaherty will earn $25 million in 2025, $10 million in 2026 which can escalate to $20 million if he makes 15 starts in 2025.

It’s a big move for the Tigers, who will reunite Flaherty with reining American League Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal atop their rotation.
