Drake’s feud with Universal Music Group just escalated to DEFCON 1. The Toronto rapper has filed his second lawsuit against the music giant, with his lawyer having previously dropped allegations that UMG engaged in a "pay-to-play" scheme with iHeartRadio to boost Kendrick Lamar’s "false song" "Not Like Us" on the airwaves.

On Nov. 25, Drake's company Frozen Moments, LLC filed a petition against Universal Music Group, alleging it carried out "schemes" to "artificially inflate" the success of Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" single.

Drake is making another legal move against Universal Music Group over lyrics in Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit “Not Like Us” that he says are false and how UMG could’ve taken action but allegedly chose to do nothing.

But that's exactly what's happening to Drake, because after filing a legal petition against Universal Music Group and Spotify, the OVO rapper has been getting battered on and offline. Even a CNN anchor dissed Drake when reporting on the legal filings.

Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC has accused UMG of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, which is used in criminal cases against organized crime. His team also alleges “deceptive business practices and false advertising” under New York state law.
