Dhaka: Amid protest over the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmaya Das, ISKCON Kolkata spokesperson Radharamn Das claimed on Saturday that two more Hindu priests were arrested in Bangladesh. He said that the two priest had gone to collect prasad and were arrested on their way back to the temple.

ISKCON Kolkata claims that two monks and a secretary were arrested by Bangladeshi authorities. The situation in Bangladesh is tense following the sedition charge against spiritual preacher Chinmoy Krishna Das.

The two priests, Adipurush Shyam Das and Ranganath Das Brahmachari, were arrested while they were returning after meeting Chinmoy Krishna Das.
