Mother drowned 3-month-old child in Chevy Chase home, court documents say
According to probable cause documents, police and firefighters were called to the home in the 7300 block of Summit Avenue just after noon for a reported pediatric drowning. Once on scene, they found a 3-month-old girl in an upstairs bathroom, unresponsive. The girl was taken to a nearby hospital, but she was pronounced dead.
