Allegheny County Police are investigating a threat at Pittsburgh International Airport. Law enforcement tells KDKA that a threat was made on board a Spirit Airlines flight heading to Florida just before take-off.

Authorities are investigating after a reported possible bomb threat was made onboard a plane at Pittsburgh International Airport Thursday morning, sources tell Channel 11.

Allegheny County Police were investigating “a security issue” at Pittsburgh International Airport after they removed all passengers from a Spirit plane set to fly Thursday morning to Tampa, officials said.

The local insMineo’s Pizza will start slinging four-cut, personal pies at the Airside Terminal food court this summer.

The Squirrel Hill mainstay, which has been in business since 1958, will open a location in the airside terminal next to Marathon Diner beginning sometime in the spring, according to Mineo's and the Allegheny County Airport Authority. Mineo's will be serving pizzas, hoagies, salads and other food.

Pittsburgh International Airport officials announced that Mineo's Pizza House will open a new location at the airport in the spring. The new pizza restaurant will be located at the food court in the airside terminal, next to Marathon Diner, and will also feature a bar seating area.
