Save the Music, the nonprofit foundation that grew in popularity on cable TV in the late 1990s through the 2000s, is going indie.

The VH1 Save the Music Foundation never had any problem getting attention in the late ’90s when it launched with a party featuring Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey

Save the Music non-profit has announced it will continue supporting music education as an independent non-profit separate from Paramount Global. The non-profit has supported music education in 285+ school districts across the United States.
