"Sorry, Baby," one of the buzzier movies at this year's Sundance Film Festival, has sold to A24. Comedian Eva Victor wrote, directed and stars in the film, about a college professor who is recovering from sexual assault.

EXCLUSIVE: A24 has gotten on the board at Sundance. The indie distributor is closing an acquisition deal for Sorry, Baby. Scripted and directed by Eva Victor, the drama premiered Sunday night at Eccles.

A24 is closing on Eva Victor’s Sundance hit Sorry, Baby, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Sunday. Victor’s film — which she wrote, directed and starred in — tells the story of a college professor recovering from sexual assault. Per the logline, “Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at least.”
