Dutch police have arrested three people following an explosion that killed six people and injured four in an apartment building in The Hague, the police said on Tuesday.

Police in The Hague say they now suspect the explosion which killed six people early on Saturday morning was targeted at the bridal shop on the ground floor of the apartment complex. Three people have been arrested in connection with the investigation and police said on Tuesday they did not rule out more arrests.

The blast, which the mayor of The Hague called an “unprecedented disaster,” killed six people on Saturday morning.

Emergency service workers have pulled a fifth body from the rubble at the apartment complex in The Hague which was partly destroyed by explosions in the early hours of Saturday morning. By 10 pm on Saturday evening it was still unclear how many people are missing.
