The shorthanded Orlando Magic gave the Milwaukee Bucks everything they could on Tuesday night. But with a 114-109 loss, the Magic's NBA Cup run concluded in Milwaukee.

The match’s defining moments came early on. In the 9th minute, a mistake by Vireak Dara allowed Singapore’s Muhammad Faris Bin Ramli to score easily after Dara mishandled a backpass from Taylor. Dara’s attempt to clear the ball with his foot went awry, allowing Faris to pounce on the loose ball and slot it into the net.

The Orlando Magic, despite a tremendous effort, fell short in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup against the Milwaukee Bucks.

That was the case Tuesday night, when the Magic forced seven first-quarter Bucks turnovers and, throughout the night, seemed to contest everything. Orlando led much of the evening and when the Bucks led it never got above 10 points.
